Being born in an Indian family, I have always been ingrained with the concept of reaching out household remedies readily available in the kitchen to resolve minor health concerns. Indeed, over the course of millennia, spices like ginger and turmeric have been used for their medicinal properties. My upbringing and my own health concerns over the years have heightened my enthusiasm for natural wellness and remedies. A career in homeopathy was a natural progression.
Having lived in the United States for more than a decade, I call the town of Chelmsford, MA home. My home also sometimes serves as my workplace apart from my main office in Lexington Medical Center. I am fluent multiple languages including Hindi, Marathi, and Tamil since I was raised in Mumbai.
I am the proud mother of two wonderful boys, and it seems that my little toddler, holds the true power in our family, even if it’s a delightful secret.
I have a deep affection for swimming in the wild, and cooking, with a special focus on Indian cuisine and its delightful flavors.
One of my favorite ways to spend quality time with my children is taking leisurely walks near Heart Pond. It brings us joy and creates lasting memories. In my free time, I indulge in few hobbies that bring me great pleasure: learning classical music, gardening, and Zumba. Whether I’m immersed in Indian ragas, tending to plants, or grooving to Latin tunes, these activities bring a sense of fulfillment and relaxation to my life.
Qualification
I hold a Bachelor’s degree in Homeopathic Medicine and Surgery from the Maharastra University of Health Sciences in India. Following my education, my practice has flourished in the United States.
As a registered classical homeopath, I am certified and recognized by the Council for Homeopathic Certification (CHC) and the National Council of Homeopathy (NCH), maintaining good standing since 2015. In addition to my professional certifications, I have taken post graduate courses like polarity analysis and have integrated these into my practice to achieve better results with clients.
Experience
I have trained for 18 months with Dr. Anita Salunke, a renowned homeopath from Mumbai, India. In the past I was fortunate to work as client liaison for Cynthia Chrisman, who has a thriving practice in Boston, MA for over 25 years. Recently, she has joined me as an expert to help with complex cases. This allows me to offer the best possible care to my clients while continuing to advance my knowledge of Homeopathy.
Besides my professional duties, I devote my time to supporting the promotion of homeopathy. I have served as a volunteer at CHC and ACHENA, two prominent organizations dedicated to promoting homeopathy in North America.
